ESTATE PIPE: SAVINELLI AUTOGRAPH Beautiful flame grain body with tight birdseye bowl top. Stunning "fat mushroom" effect with sterling silver band on flattened tortoise like lucite stem. SOLD ESTATE PIPE: LASSE SKOVGAARD 2 ELEPHANT'S FOOT hand made in Denmark. Incredible ring blast finish. This pipe was made by Lasse Skovgaard Jorgensen, the son of Benni Jorgensen pipemaker at Larsen in Copenhagen, having learned the craft primarily from Teddy Knudsen. Lasse started making pipes and accessories at age 16 and by age 21 was showing his own pipes at the Chicago show. The pipe is well balanced. Pipe measures 5" long. The bowl is 4" long x 1 3/4" tall. SOLD ESTATE PIPE: WILLMER STRAIGHT GRAIN AAA CUP AND SAUCER Beautiful straight gain, plateau topped unusual shaped pipe. You could mistake this for a pre-Lane Charatan Supreme. It is a very old Charatan shape and carved by one of the best Charatan's carvers who started his own company after Charatan was closed. The square shank extends under the beautiful bowl to suggest a saucer under the cup. The pipe measures 6 7/8" long. The bowl is 2 1/4" tall x 1 3/4" wide.
